Design Considerations. Brendan Bartlett Landscape Architecture and Design undertake design projects with the following typical rationale: Unique and Creative Design. Every site has a unique set of attributes, opportunities and constraints. A truly successful landscape design needs to consider these site specific qualities holistically, and provide a unique design response tailored to the characteristics of the site. This also provides the opportunity to implement creative, unique, and cutting edge design that stands out from the crowd, and this is an area that is taken very seriously. Unique, well considered and thought out design encourages landscapes to be used, cared for, appreciated, and enjoyed; and the benefits of such design go much further than simply being aesthetically pleasing.

Waterwise and Sustainable Design Principles.
As a rule, all of our landscapes are designed to minimize water dependence, with a focus on sustainability.
Some of the waterwise principles incorporated into our design include: Indigenous planting design, xeriscaping and hydrozoning. Lawn minimization and creative alternatives. Integration of water and greywater tanks into the landscape. Alternative nature strip treatments. Water sensitive urban design principles and maximization of rainfall benefit.
